The flood scenario in Bihar remained grim on Sunday as 87,000 extra individuals had been affected by the deluge, a Disaster Management Department bulletin stated.

A complete of 5.08 lakh individuals have been evacuated from the deluge-hit areas thus far throughout joint rescue operations carried out by 20 groups of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and 13 groups of the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), it stated.
A complete of 11,849 individuals have been shifted to reduction camps, whereas 9.46 lakh individuals had been fed at 1,267 neighborhood kitchens within the affected areas in the course of the day, the bulletin stated.
A complete of 9.86 lakh had been fed at 1,342 neighborhood kitchens on Saturday. The drop within the numbers is partly due to the development of the flood scenario in some areas, it stated.
Rivers comparable to Baghmati, Burhi Gandak, Kamlabalan, Adhwara, Khiroi and Ghaghra are flowing above the hazard ranges.
