The Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal on Tuesday launched an eight-week alternative academic calendar, developed by NCERT, for classes 9 to 12. The alternative calendar maps the themes with use of know-how and social media instruments to present schooling whereas the scholars are at residence.
The Education minister whereas tweeting about alternative academic calendar wrote, “Launched the Alternative Academic Calendar (AAC) for the following eight weeks for the secondary stage in the present day. Alternative Academic Calendar for 12 weeks for main & higher main phases and AAC for secondary & larger secondary phases for four weeks had already been launched.’

According to the brand new Unlock four tips, colleges are going to begin (partially) for college students of classes 9 to 12 from September 21, 2020. The participation of the scholars within the class is on a voluntary foundation.
The academic calendar accommodates week-wise plans consisting of attention-grabbing and difficult actions, with reference to theme/chapter taken from syllabus or textbook.
