The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation or BMC has modified quarantine ideas and made institutional isolation compulsory for all COVID-19 victims above 50 years of age from this week in an effort to convey down morality cost.

According to the modified ideas issued on August 19, all COVID-19 victims above 50 years with or with out co-morbidities have to be insisted to get admitted in COVID Care Centres, no matter indicators.

“No home isolation should be allowed,” reads the modified ideas of the BMC.
