Jammu and Kashmir administration on Thursday sanctioned Rs 15 crore to arrange additional testing laboratory and gear for three medical colleges, for Personal protecting gear and different COVID containment efforts underneath State Disaster Response Fund.
The sanctioned quantity might be equally distributed amongst Sher-I-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences, Government Medical College of Jammu and Srinagar, i.e. Rs 5 crore every, said the press launch by the Department of Information and Public Relation, J-K.
This funding is especially supplied to the Health Department, stated Chief Secretary BVR Subrahmanyam throughout a Subject Expert Committee (SEC) assembly headed on Thursday.
