More than 60 folks have been killed and one other 60 wounded in contemporary violence within the West Darfur area of Sudan, UN officers introduced Sunday.
Around 500 armed males attacked Masteri Town, north of Beida, in Darfur on Saturday afternoon, stated the assertion from the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).
The attackers focused members of the native Masalit neighborhood, looting and burning homes and a part of the native market, the assertion added.
