Around 164 railway infrastructure projects are being executed in these states,” the ministry stated. Till September 4, it added, 12,276 staff had been engaged on this programme and Rs 1,631.80 crore has been launched to the contractors for the tasks being carried out.
The Railways has appointed nodal officers in every district in addition to within the states so {that a} shut coordination is established with the state authorities.
