Shimla:
The Himachal Pradesh authorities has determined to reopen colleges from Classes 9 to 12 from Monday, virtually six months after remaining shut as a result of coronavirus pandemic.
The resolution on this regard was taken in a Cabinet assembly chaired by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur this night, an official spokesperson stated.
Educational establishments within the state had been closed in March after the outbreak of the lethal virus.
The Cabinet gave its nod to open instructional establishments outdoors the containment zones within the state from September 21 as per the usual working process (SOP) of the Union Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the spokesperson stated.
These colleges will probably be opened with 50 per cent instructing and non-teaching employees in attendance for college kids from Class 9 to Class 12, offered the scholars are prepared to take steering from the academics, he stated.
For this, a written consent of the dad and mom or guardians of scholars is obligatory, the spokesperson added.
