The Centre has requested the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation to method the town authorities for monetary help for compensation of the mushy mortgage it had taken from Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) for numerous tasks.

“We have received such a communication from the ministry recently. The same is being examined and processed,” stated Anuj Dayal, Executive Director, DMRC.
He responded to a question over stories that the Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs has directed all metros to put in writing to their respective state governments for help concerning compensation of loans taken from exterior lending companies.
