Another alleged confederate of killed gangster Vikas Dubey, behind the bloodbath of eight policemen at Bikru village in Kanpur was arrested by the UP Special Task Force, the STF stated in a press release on Friday.
Shivam Dubey, 24, was arrested on Thursday night, the STF stated.
Shivam is the fifth accused arrested within the case.
Of the 21 accused within the Kanpur ambush case, six have been killed and 5 arrested up to now, stated STF, including a search is on for 10 different accused.
Vikas Dubey was the sixth man to die in a police encounter after his arrest following the July 2 ambush of a police staff which had gone to arrest the dreaded gangster to his village.
The probe has confirmed that Shivam was current in Bikru on the fateful night time and actively took half in killing police personnel, together with Deputy SP Devendra Kumar Mishra, three sub-inspectors and 4 constables, a senior STF official stated.

He was carrying a reward of Rs 25,000 on his arrest, the STF stated.
