Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Wednesday supplied a set of recent silk cloths on the well-known hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala on the event of the continued 9 day Brahmotsavam pageant, that started on September 19.

Later, Mr Reddy, as per custom, carried the cloths stored on a silver plate on his head and handed it over to the clergymen and officers of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, which governs the shrine, a temple official stated.

With strict COVID-19 precautions, the Brahmotsavam is being carried out with no processions of the Lord, he stated.
