Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Saturday thanked the farmers of the state for not taking part in the demonstration in opposition to the three contentious agricultural legal guidelines handed by the Centre in September.
Khattar was in town to go a gathering of the District Public Relations and Public Prevention Committee.
The CM alleged that the farmers’ protest is especially sponsored by the political events of Punjab and another organizations there.
Khattar added that through the previous three days he wished to debate together with his Punjab counterpart Captain Amarinder Singh in regards to the farmers’ motion however the latter did not reply to his cellphone calls.
He mentioned that he himself might not perceive the precise purpose behind this ignorance on the a part of the Punjab Chief Minister.
“Some political parties are misleading the farmers which is unfortunate and condemnable,” the Haryana CM mentioned, including that “the farmers demonstration is motivated by the Punjab government because his cardholders were leading the entire farmer’s movement”.
The CM appreciated the functioning of the Haryana Police.
He mentioned that the police acted with full restraint throughout this motion and did not use any pressure, solely to cease them as a result of there is no such thing as a justification to go to Delhi in such massive numbers.
Khattar mentioned: “We again appeal to the farmers representatives to talk to the Centre in this matter as negotiation is the solution.”
