The BJP authorities in Uttar Pradesh has proved to be a “failure” in coping with the coronavirus pandemic and sufferers had been neither getting medicines nor correct therapy, Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav alleged on Saturday.

Alleging that BJP governments, each on the Centre and Uttar Pradesh, are making “mere claims”, Mr Yadav claimed that Yogi Adityanath’s tenure as chief minister is being “spent in cutting the ribbons of the works done by the previous Samajwadi Party government”.
The former chief minister mentioned officers, policemen, members of the judiciary, staff of banks, well being and training sector are falling prey to coronavirus an infection and it is a matter of grave concern.
“The patients are neither getting medicines nor treatment in time. Because of administrative failure, the number of deaths can go high,” Akhilesh Yadav mentioned.
Referring to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurating a 400-bed hospital in Noida on Saturday, Akhilesh Yadav mentioned its basis was laid throughout his Samajwadi Party Government and the present chief minister has merely fulfilled the formality of slicing the ribbon.
Mr Yadav requested the state authorities to rise from its slumber and be sure that right studies of COVID-19 checks are supplied and that too promptly.
