The Met division on Sunday issued a pink alert of extraordinarily heavy rainfall on Monday at remoted locations in Pune and Satara districts in Maharashtra, an official mentioned.

He mentioned remainder of the area is anticipated to obtain heavy to very heavy rainfall at remoted locations throughout the week.
Parts of Maharashtra together with north, Madhya and Vidarbha areas are anticipated to obtain heavy to very heavy showers until Thursday, he added.
