The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Examination (GBSHSE) is considering to reduce the syllabus for lessons 10 and 12 for the academic 12 months 2020-21 in view of the closure of faculties due to the COVID-19 outbreak, a senior official stated.

On Tuesday, Union HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ introduced that the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has rationalised the syllabus for lessons 9 to 12 for the academic 12 months 2020-21 by up to 30 per cent to make up for academic loss induced due to COVID-19.
