Four individuals of a household on the way in which to have a good time Chhath at their native village in Bihar’s Katihar have been killed in a head-on collision between their automobile and a pickup van in Jharkhand’s Jamtara district on Sunday, police mentioned.
The household was travelling from Dhanbad to their native village in Katihar when their automobile collided with the pickup van coming from the opposite path at Satsal, they mentioned.
Those killed have been Vishwanath Mishra (55), his spouse Yaras (50), their son Sumit (32) and daughter-in-law Ragini (30), police mentioned.
Vishwanath’s five-year-old granddaughter Khushi and three-year-old grandson Piyush have been injured within the accident and present process therapy at PMCH, Dhanbad.
Vishwanath, a retired soldier, is presently employed on the Divisional Railway Manager’s workplace in Dhanbad.
