Six Congress MLAs in Manipur have submitted their resignation to the speaker, celebration legislator O Henry Singh mentioned right this moment.
They are among the many eight Congress MLAs who defied a celebration whip on Monday and skipped the one-day session of the meeting, by which the BJP-led N Biren Singh authorities received a facile vote of confidence.
Besides Henry Singh who’s an MLA from the Wangkhei meeting phase, the legislators who’ve resigned are Oinam Lukhoi of Wangoi, Md Abdul Nasir of Lilong, Paonam Brojen of Wangjing Tentha, Ngamthang Haokip of Saitu, and Ginsuanhau of Singhat, he mentioned.
