Bhopal:
Four kids died and two others had been had been injured on Monday in a mudslide close to a drain, police mentioned.
Seven kids, aged between seven and 12 years, had gone close by place to dig out yellow mud to color properties for Diwali, police official Rajesh Singh Badhoriya mentioned.
Six of them had been extracting mud when unfastened soil caved in, trapping them, Mr Badhoriya mentioned.
On seeing the mudslide, the seventh boy ran to a village close by and knowledgeable individuals who in flip referred to as the police, he mentioned.
The kids had been pulled out from the heap of mud and brought to hospital however 4 of them died, he mentioned.
“The incident happened in Barkhedi village in the Sukhi Sewaniya area, 22km from the district headquarters. Three girls and a boy died en route to Hamadia Hospital, while two children were admitted there with injuries,” he mentioned.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan expressed grief over the incident and introduced monetary help of Rs 4 lakh every to the households of the youngsters who misplaced their life.
