Saharanpur Police arrested a ration depot operator for an “objectionable post” in opposition to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on a WhatsApp group, an official mentioned on Sunday.
Superintendent of Police (City) Vineet Bhatnagar informed PTI that Mohammad Kamal had circulated an “objectionable post” in opposition to the chief minister a number of days in the past.
He mentioned former MLA Rajiv Gumbar, together with Hindu organisations, had demanded his arrest whereas the native BJP chief, Yog Chugh, had lodged a criticism on this regard.
He mentioned police arrested Mohammad Kamal on Sunday.
