Australia head coach Justin Langer expressed displeasure over match referee David Boon’s choice of permitting Yuzvendra Chahal as a concussion substitute for Ravindra Jadeja in the course of the first Twenty20 International between Australia and India in Canberra. Jadeja suffered a concussion after he was hit on the helmet by a Mitchell Starc supply within the Indian inning. After being put in to bat by Finch, who gained the toss on Friday, India posted 161 for 7, helped alongside by a half-century by KL Rahul (51) and Ravindra Jadeja’s quickfire 44 not out off simply 23 balls.
The incident occurred within the last over of the Indian inning when a bouncer from Starc hit Jadeja on his helmet after having deflected off the bat.
Jadeja sustained a concussion and is being assessed by the BCCI’s medical workforce, the BCCI tweeted.
Jadeja has been in good type with the bat for India on this tour, along with his unbeaten half-century within the third One-day International in Canberra serving to India set-up their first win of the tour.
The left-handed batsman made 66 not out off 50 balls and together with Hardik Pandya’s 92 (76) took the workforce whole to 302 for six.

Australia had been bowled out for 289 within the 50th over, giving India a 13-run win.
Australia, although, gained the ODI sequence 2-1 as they’d gained the primary two ODIs in Sydney.
