Talking concerning the problem of enjoying towards India, Lyon stated: “I have always enjoyed playing against India, they have some of the best players in the world against spin. I have always said that I want to challenge myself against the best players in the world against spin. In my eyes, we have the best bowling attack in the world, it is not about personal success and it is more about playing our roles to take 20 wickets in each Test match.”
Opening batsman David Warner has been dominated out of the primary Test towards India as he injured his adductor pressure through the second ODI towards the guests. Will Pucovski has additionally been dominated out as he suffered a concussion through the three-day follow recreation.
“It is disappointing when you lose players to injuries, we all know the quality of Warner. You look at both sides, they have superstars and both have good bowling attacks. It would be a massive challenge for both the teams, we all know what happened last time India came here. I think it is pretty even, both are good sides, India and Australia are the top two sides in my eyes so it will be a massive challenge,” stated Lyon.
