Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 70th birthday on September 17, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) employees in Tamil Nadu’s Coimbatore have provided a 70-kilogram laddu to Lord Shiva at Sivan Kamatchi Amman Temple, and distributed it amongst the folks.
To mark the celebration, the BJP employees had carried out a procession outdoors the temple after which provided prayers following which the laddu was distributed.
As a part of the celebration, for the previous one week, BJP employees have engaged themselves in several occasions together with ration distribution amongst the needy, organising blood donation camps and eye-check up camps.
Earlier on September 14th, BJP had launched a week-long marketing campaign particularly “Seva Saptah” to mark the 70th birthday of the Prime Minister.
Several social initiatives are being undertaken by the social gathering leaders and employees throughout the nation.
This marketing campaign was launched by the social gathering President JP Nadda at Chhaprauli village in Gautam Buddh Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh. The marketing campaign will proceed until September 20.
