The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has lowered its syllabus for sophistication 9 to 12 college students by as much as 30% for the 2020-21 session to make up for the educational loss that occurred because of the Covid-enforced shutdown and cut back the course load, within the time of Coronavirus pandemic when faculties are shut since March and college students are attending on-line lessons.

The Union human useful resource growth (HRD) minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ on Tuesday stated on Twitter, “Looking at the extraordinary situation prevailing in the country and the world, CBSE was advised to revise the curriculum and reduce the course load for the students of classes 9 to 12. Considering the importance of learning achievement, it has been decided to rationalise syllabus up to 30% by retaining the core concepts.”

CBSE has eliminated a number of chapters from varied topics in an effort to cut back the course load on academics and college students. Some of the important chapters which were deleted embrace :
