Jharkhand Police IG Suman Gupta stated that the police has been at public service and was given many duties through the lockdown which had put them on the threat of contracting the virus.

Ranchi SSP Surendra Jha said that now the complaints will be entertained online, via WhatsApp or will be compiled from the dropboxes which are to be installed at all the police stations very soon. “This is the one approach to minimise the probabilities of unfold,” Jha said.
Many police stations have already been sealed to stop the entry of people. Dropboxes are being installed near the main gate of the police stations for the convenience of the people.
