An earthquake of magnitude 5.4 was reported close to Taipei, Taiwan on Friday morning, in accordance with India’s National Center for Seismology.

The epicentre of the earthquake was 427 km southeast (SE) of Taipei, Taiwan, the company mentioned. The earthquake struck at 7:52:32 AM IST at a depth of 10 km from the floor.
