The Congress, TRS, DMK and the AAP joined different opposition events in extending help to the Bharat Bandh on December eight referred to as by farmer unions which have been protesting on Delhi’s borders for 11 days demanding repeal of the Centre’s new agri-marketing legal guidelines. Expressing the Congress’ “wholehearted” help to the strike name, get together spokesperson Pawan Khera stated it is going to maintain protests that day at all district and state headquarters in solidarity with the calls for of the farmers.
Addressing the media at the AICC headquarters in Delhi, he stated former get together chief Rahul Gandhi, by way of tractor rallies, signature campaigns and Kisaan rallies, has been elevating the get together’s voice in help of the farmers. “All our district headquarters and Pradesh headquarters will participate in this bandh. They will hold demonstrations and ensure that the bandh is successful,” Khera stated.
