The French Open tennis event, rescheduled to September because of the coronavirus pandemic, can be restricted to five,000 spectators day by day, a discount from the 11,500 introduced by organisers, the Paris police prefecture instructed AFP on Thursday. Earlier this month, the French tennis federation (FFT) had revealed plans for the September 27-October 11 Grand Slam to permit 11,500 followers to attend every day, with the Roland Garros venue divided into three unbiased zones.
