Teaching and non-teaching staff of assorted faculties and academic institutes in Goa have now been allowed to work from home, the state authorities has mentioned.
A round issued by Goa schooling director Suresh Amonkar said faculties, schooling and teaching establishments within the state will stay closed till July 31.
To allow them to work from home has been a long-pending demand of staffers at faculties and academic institutes in view of a surge in COVID-19 instances within the state.
The variety of instances in Goa rose to 4,540 as on July 24.
