Union HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ at present stated that the HRD Ministry has shaped a review panel to talk about the conduct of entrance examination National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) and Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) within the wake of covid-19 disaster within the nation.
NEET is a medical entrance examination which was to be carried out on July 26 whereas JEE an engineering entrance examination was to be carried out from 18-23 July.
‘Looking at the prevailing circumstances & requests received from students & parents appearing for #JEE & #NEET examinations, a committee consisting of @DG_NTA & other experts has been advised to review the situation & submit its recommendations to @HRDMinistry latest by tomorrow,’ stated minister in a tweet.
