India on Tuesday efficiently performed the flight check of ABHYAS – High-Speed Expendable Aerial Target (HEAT) automobiles from a check vary in Odisha, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh tweeted.
Congratulating DRDO on its achievement, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh stated ABHYAS can be utilized as a goal for analysis of missile techniques.

The trial, carried out by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) from the Integrated Test Range (ITR) at Chandipur close to Odisha’s Balasore, was tracked by numerous radars and electro-optic techniques, defence sources stated.
During the trial on Tuesday, two demonstrator automobiles had been efficiently test-flown, DRDO sources stated.
ABHYAS has been designed and developed by the Aeronautical Development Establishment (ADE) of the DRDO.
