Intense outbreaks of the new coronavirus can still be brought under management, World Health Organization chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus mentioned Friday, lamenting that international case numbers had greater than doubled prior to now six weeks.

“There are many, many examples from around the world,” mentioned Tedros, that even when the Covid-19 outbreak is “very intense, it can still be brought back under control”.
