England batsman Joe Denly has been ruled out of the Royal London Series towards Ireland after struggling back spasms in coaching, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) mentioned on Friday.
Lancashire’s Liam Livingstone has changed the 34-year-old within the 14-man squad for the remaining two ODIs.
“Joe Denly has been ruled out the Royal London Series against Ireland after suffering back spasms in training on Wednesday. The Kent batsman has been replaced in the 14-man England ODI squad by Lancashire’s Liam Livingstone,” the ECB mentioned in a press release.
Livingstone has represented England in two T20s and can make his ODI debut if chosen within the taking part in XI in a single of the ultimate two matches.
England received the opening match by six wickets, The three-ODI series is being held behind closed doorways in a bio-secure setting on the Ageas Bowl.
The second ODI will probably be performed on Saturday, adopted by the ultimate match on Tuesday.
