Police arrested a person in Uttar Pradesh’s Barabanki district on Sunday for allegedly posting objectionable images of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on social media. A case towards the accused has been lodged on the Zaidpur police station in Barabanki.
Superintendent of Police Arvind Chaturvedi on Sunday stated the Zaidpur police bought data that Sageer Ahmed had posted objectionable images of Modi and Adityanath on Facebook, triggering anger amongst totally different sections of the society.
The police registered a case beneath numerous sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and arrested the accused, who was despatched to jail, the SP stated.
