Mere Sai shoot was suspended for three days after a crew member was examined constructive for coronavirus. The present resumes shoot from today (July 7).

TV shoots resumed in Mumbai from final week of June, strictly following the social-distancing tips on units. Makers are taking good care of tips and following the instruction on the units. However, if any crew member is discovered to be coronavirus-positive, the taking pictures must be instantly stalled for three days. And, that is what Mere Sai staff did.
A Mere Sai crew member was examined constructive for the novel coronavirus and as per authorities guideline, the makers stopped the shoot for three days. The particular person, who contracted the virus was not current on the units and has been admitted to a quarantine facility, knowledgeable Mere Sai producer Nitin Vaidya.
“One of our team members has been tested positive recently and as per the Government guidelines, we have stopped the shoot of Mere Sai until 7th July. This person, was not present on the set and underwent proper testing to verify the symptoms immediately. He has been admitted to a quarantine facility and is recovering well, under proper medical care. His temperature and oxygen levels are normal,” his assertion learn.
Mere Sai set was sanitised, fumigated and disinfected earlier than the shoot resumed today (July 7). “While all the necessary precautions have been undertaken, as per the guidelines, the set has been thoroughly fumigated & disinfected. The cast and crew associated with the show are healthy and haven’t come in contact with the person affected. We are happy that we work with a responsible crew who understand the sensitivity of the pandemic and our only intention is to support them in the best possible manner,” stated Vaidya.
Sony TV’s present Mere Sai narrates the story of Sai Baba of Shirdi. Actor Tushar Dalvi performs the titular position. The actor changed Abeer Soofi as Sai Baba in 2019.
