A Naxal was killed whereas two security personnel sustained accidents in an encounter in Bijapur in Chhattisgarh on Sunday, police mentioned.

CoBRA 204th battalion constable Sandip Ghosh and constable Chandu Kadti of the district police sustained leg accidents after stepping on an iron spike entice arrange by the ultras, the official mentioned.
Further particulars of the operation are awaited from the spot, he added.
