Apple has launched a brand new supplemental update for macOS Catalina 10.15.7 that accommodates fixes for a number of security flaws which have been used within the wild.
The macOS 10.15.7 Supplemental Update, which Apple recommends all customers obtain, might be acquired by heading into the Update menu in System Preferences.
According to Apple’s security updates webpage, the macOS update patches three flaws found by Google’s Project Zero staff of bug hunters.
That features a vulnerability that might permit maliciously crafted fonts to execute arbitrary code, in addition to two kernel flaws which will permit malicious functions to execute code with kernel privileges and disclose kernel reminiscence. Apple says it’s conscious of studies that exploits for all three security vulnerabilities have been found within the wild.
The Supplemental Update comes about one month after Apple launched macOS 10.15.7, which contained a handful of bug fixes.
