Tehran:
Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani on Sunday stated the subsequent US administration has a possibility to “compensate for its previous mistakes” following Joe Biden’s victory within the presidential election.
“Now there is an opportunity for the future American administration to compensate for its previous mistakes and return to the path of adherence to international commitments,” Rouhani stated, in an announcement on his official web site.
US President Donald Trump, who misplaced Tuesday’s election to Democratic challenger Biden, has utilized a “maximum pressure” coverage and crippling sanctions towards Iran since his 2018 withdrawal from a landmark nuclear settlement with Tehran.
The reimposed sanctions focused Iran’s very important oil trade and banking ties, amongst different sectors.

Iran’s supreme chief Ayatollah Ali Khamenei stated Tuesday that the US election consequence would have “no effect” on Tehran’s insurance policies in direction of Washington.
Biden has stated throughout his marketing campaign that he plans to embark on a “credible path to return to diplomacy” with Iran, and raised the potential of returning to the 2015 nuclear deal, negotiated when he was vp below Barack Obama.
