A Goa courtroom granted conditional bail to movie producer Sam Bombay, who was arrested for allegedly molesting, threatening and assaulting his actor spouse Poonam Pandey, police stated on Wednesday. Judicial Justice of the Peace Shanoor Audi granted bail to Sam on Tuesday night on surety of Rs 20,000, an official stated.
Pandey had filed a police criticism late on Monday evening claiming that her husband had molested her and threatened her with dire penalties after assaulting her, he stated. The couple was in Canacona village of South Goa for a movie shoot. Sam has been requested to report back to Canacona police station for 4 days beginning Wednesday and additionally to not intervene with witnesses.
“Pandey filed a complaint late Monday night claiming her husband Sam Bombay had molested her, and threatened her with dire consequences after assaulting her. He was arrested,” Inspector Tukaram Chavan of Canacona police station stated, based on PTI. She was subjected to necessary medical checks, he added.
When Spotboye contacted Pandey, she refused to remark. “I am not in the right state of mind. I will talk to you soon and answer all the queries,” she stated.
Poonam and Sam, who have been in a live-in relationship for round two years, acquired married at their house in Bandra, with solely their shut mates and members of the family in attendance. Sharing an image from their marriage ceremony, she wrote on Instagram, “Here’s looking forward to seven lifetimes with you.”
