Moscow:
A Russian authorities plane used to carry senior authorities officers, along with the top of the FSB security service, has made a fast flight to Belarus and once more, landing in Moscow inside the early hours of Wednesday, flight monitoring data reveals.
The flight comes as Belarus, an in depth Russian ally, is mired in a political catastrophe with protesters offended over what they’re saying was a rigged presidential election on August 9.
They have been calling on veteran chief Alexander Lukashenko to step down. He has refused, saying they’re part of a foreign-backed plot to destabilise the nation.
Tracking data confirmed the plane, a Tupolev Tu-214 which may also be a command and administration centre, flew to Minsk from Moscow on Tuesday sooner than landing once more in Moscow inside the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Attention is firmly centered on how Russia will reply to the most important political catastrophe coping with an ex-Soviet neighbour since 2014 in Ukraine, when Moscow intervened militarily after a pleasing chief was toppled by public protests.
