On his solution to Russia, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Tuesday made a stopover in Tehran and held talks together with his Iranian counterpart Javad Zarif, protecting varied features of bilateral relations and regional developments.
Mr Jaishankar described the assembly as “productive”.

“India has been taking active part in various SCO dialogue mechanisms under the Chairmanship of the Russian Federation in this year. The SCO Summit will be held in the near future,” the MEA stated in an announcement.
It stated that the CFM assembly in Moscow will overview the preparations for the forthcoming SCO summit and in addition trade views on worldwide and regional points.
“External Affairs Minister’s visit in Moscow will include the participation in the Council of SCO foreign ministers and other bilateral meetings,” the MEA stated.
