Earlier this week, Sachin Tendulkar renewed calls for for cricket guidelines to offer larger weight to TV playbacks over umpires in making LBW choices.
Tendulkar, a long-standing critic of the choice assessment system (DRS), returned to the fray after a number of LBW calls within the West Indies’ victory over England within the first Test.
Tendulkar feels that is unfair and needs the International Cricket Council to rethink the system.
“One thing I don’t agree with, with the ICC, is the DRS they’ve been using for quite some time,” Tendulkar stated in a web-based dialog with West Indies legend Brian Lara.
