Saudi Arabia agreed on Monday to let Israeli airliners cross its airspace en path to the United Arab Emirates after talks between Saudi officers and White House senior adviser Jared Kushner, a senior Trump administration official stated.
Kushner and Middle East envoys Avi Berkowitz and Brian Hook raised the difficulty shortly after they arrived in Saudi Arabia for talks. “We were able to reconcile the issue,” the official informed Reuters.
The settlement was hammered out simply hours earlier than Israel’s first business flight to the UAE was deliberate on Tuesday morning. The Israir flight was prone to being canceled with no overflight settlement.
