SSC CGL Tier-I Result declared @ ssc.nic.in, here’s direct link – Times of India

NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) on Wednesday, July 01, 2020, announced the SSC CGL tier-I result 2020 on its official website – ssc.nic.in. The candidates who appeared for the SSC CGL exam are advised to visit the official website of the Commission to check and download their result. The SSC CGL result is available in a form of a PDF document containing names and roll numbers of all the qualifying candidates.

Along with the result, the Commission has also released the SSC CGL cutoff 2020 and SSC CGL final answer key. The same can also be download through the official website of the Commission.

The SSC CGL Tier-I 2019-20 examination was conducted by the Commission from March 3 to March 9, 2020. A total of 9,78,103 candidates appeared in the said examination.

Initially, the SSC CGL tier-I answer key was expected to be released on March 15, 2020. However, the processing to SSC CGL Tier-I result was delayed due to lockdown and Covid-19 pandemic.

Based on marks scored in Tier-I Examination, candidates have been shortlisted, category-wise, to appear in Tier-II and Tier-III examinations. Separate cutoffs have been fixed for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer and Assistant Accounts Officer, Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) and Statistical Investigator (SI), Grade II and all other posts.

How to check SSC CGL Tier-I result 2020?

The candidates who appeared for the SSC CGL 2019-20 examination are advised to follow the step by step guide provided below to check and download their result:

1) Open the official website of the SSC

2) Click on the SSC CGL tier-I results notification link

3) Check your name & roll number in the qualified candidates list

4) The candidates can also check the SSC CGL 2019 final answer key and cut off through the official website

5) The candidates can take a printout of SSC CGL Results documents for further reference

The SSC CGL Tier-I qualifying candidates will become eligible to apply for the SSC CGL Tier-II examination.

The Combined Graduate Level (Tier-II and Tier-III) Examination, 2019 is tentatively scheduled to be held from 12-10-2020 to 15-10-2020 and 01-11-2020 respectively, subject to the prevailing conditions and Government guidelines issued from time to time in view of handling of the Covid-19 pandemic. The Admission Certificates of the qualified candidates will be uploaded on the websites of the respective Regional Offices about 03-07 days before the conduct of the Tier-II Exam.
