Delhi University’s St Stephen’s College will start its registration process on Tuesday and can conduct online interviews in view of the coronavirus pandemic, the school mentioned on Sunday.
The registration process will start on July 7 and finish on July 18. The college students will first have to register on the Delhi University’s web site to be eligible to apply for admission to St Stephen’s College, it mentioned.
The school uploaded its prospectus online on Sunday and gave particulars of the admission process.
The interview could have three parts — tutorial, co-curricular and normal consciousness and sense of values.
Candidates showing for the interview could have to hold a printout of the interview name letter, and unique copies of the certificates of the date of beginning (the Secondary School Certificate) and marksheet of the qualifying examination.
Candidates from the Christian class could have to be submit a duplicate of certificates of Baptism/Certificate of Confirmation (legitimate from not less than two years prior to the final date fastened for receipt of utility).
If the candidate belongs to a Church which practices Adult Baptism, a Certificate of Dedication of the candidate at childhood is required, the prospectus mentioned.
The Christian candidates may even have to submit a letter of advice from the Parish Priest, duly endorsed by the Bishop of the Chruch or an individual of equal/increased authority, a letter of membership of the candidate in a church and a letter of membership of each of the dad and mom in a church.
“Owing to the ongoing pandemic situation, interviews will be conducted online,” it mentioned.
Delhi University has six minority faculties — two Christian and 4 Sikh — the place seats are reserved.
For admission to Christian minority faculties — Jesus and Mary College and St. Stephen’s College — candidates have to first fill the college registration kind after which fill the respective school kind accessible on the school web site with the main points already stuffed within the college kind.
