Amid stories of students dropping out of personal colleges throughout the coronavirus pandemic, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel requested collectors and district schooling officers to get data on the matter and implement remedial measures, an official stated on Sunday.
The state schooling division has written letters to collectors and DEOs directing them to satisfy mother and father and encourage them to get their wards admitted in authorities colleges, the state public relations division official stated.
The letter stated there have been stories in media about youngsters dropping out of personal colleges amid the outbreak as a consequence of a wide range of causes.
The data to be collected should embrace names of students, addresses, contact particulars of oldsters and so forth, he stated.
The state authorities has laid down that colleges should not insist on switch certificates or mark-sheets whereas giving admission to such students between Class I and Class X, the official knowledgeable.
While giving admission in Class XI, their Class X marks should be verified, the letter has said.
The course of should be accomplished in 15 days and a report should be submitted to the state’s Directorate of Public Instruction, the official added.
