Earlier in March 2020, FADA had filed an utility searching for the extension on sale and registration of BS4 automobiles for a month, due to the lack of gross sales as a result of lockdown imposed in view of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, it withdrew the order when the sellers exceeded the restrict and offered over 2.55 lakh BS4 automobiles.
