Tenet does not have a launch date anymore. With most cinemas closed within the US due to the continuing coronavirus pandemic, Warner Bros. introduced Monday that it was delaying the Christopher Nolan film for a third time. The studio nonetheless plans to launch Tenet in 2020, noting that it could share a new launch date “imminently”. That stated, Tenet will not have a “traditional global day-and-date release”. Tenet was initially slated to open July 17. But in mid-June, Warner Bros. pushed it again to July 31, after which to August 12 in late June. Multiple experiences now declare that Tenet may start its roll-out in early September — IndieWire says September 9, and it is September 11 for Deadline — together with within the US.
