All the federal government and its aided schools of Tripura can be reopened from October 5 that had been closed since March due to Covid-19 pandemic.
The choice was taken in a high-power committee assembly of Education Department at Civil Secretariat the place vice chancellors of Tripura University ( Central) and Maharaja Bir Bikram University, and officers of Elementary and Higher Education departments took half.
As per the choice, 50 p.c academics would attend schools rotation-wise day by day. The college students of Class 9 to 12 may attend lessons solely after getting written consent of their dad and mom.
“ We have decided to reopen schools from October 05. Students of Class 9 to 12 can come to schools to consult with teachers about their subject-related queries, but they need to get written consent of their parents first,” stated Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath after the assembly on Thursday.
There are practically 4,400 authorities schools within the state.
The Education Department launched on-line lessons, video lecture classes in native TV channels, Students’ Helpline Call Centre, SMS primarily based lessons for the scholars through the pandemic.
