The Indore district administration demolished an “illegal construction” belonging to Namdev Tyagi, popularly referred to as Computer Baba, in the town on Sunday. According to the Additional District Magistrate (ADM), Indore, as many as six folks have been detained as they tried to impede the demolition course of, information company ANI reported.

The controversial spiritual chief was appointed chairman of Narmada, Kshipra and Mandakini River Trust by the Kamal Nath authorities on March 10, 2019. Within minutes of becoming a member of workplace on the Madhya Pradesh secretariat, Computer Baba had demanded a helicopter for the circumambulation of the Narmada, saying he’ll want a contemporary “astra shastra” if the river is to be saved.
Before demanding helicopter, he accused the earlier Shivraj Singh Chouhan authorities of corruption in planting of saplings alongside the Narmada and introduced a probe.
