Two individuals have been charged with sedition and hatching prison conspiracy for his or her alleged involvement in horse-trading of Congress MLAs forward of the Rajya Sabha elections final month, a high official stated on Friday.

“Mobile phone of anti-social elements were put on surveillance. Based on the interception of two phones, some facts have come to fore that they and some others might be involved in the horse-trading of MLAs,” Mr Rathore advised reporters.
“So an FIR has been registered against the two persons owning the mobile phones and a few others,” he added.
He stated a case has been registered underneath sections 124-A and 120-B of the Indian Penal Code.
Mr Rathore stated a probe is on verify the identification of political leaders, who have been involved with these individuals.
He stated a search has been launched to arrest the 2, whereas a probe is on additionally on one other grievance lodged by Congress Chief Whip Mahesh Joshi.
