Three Delhi Police personnel together with 5 others have been arrested for allegedly attempting to rob a businessman at gunpoint in south Delhi’s Mahipalpur space, officers stated on Tuesday.
Sandeep, Manu and Amit are the arrested policemen. One of them is posted on the Special Cell of Delhi Police, they stated.
According to the police, Naveen Sehrawat, director of a enterprise agency, lodged a report on Sunday alleging that 4 males barged into his workplace when he was busy working along with his workers. The males informed him that they had been police officers and threatened him handy over all the property.
When Sehrawat requested them to point out their identification playing cards, certainly one of them slapped him and the opposite pointed a pistol at him and threatened to shoot him, police stated.
An worker of the sufferer shouted for assist, following which three of the boys managed to flee by leaping off the balcony, whereas one was caught, they stated.
The police later arrested all of the eight accused within the case.
